Welcome to our new Plant Pass Partners
We welcome three new Partners:
New Zealand Winegrowers (NZW), who are also a member of the Plant Pass Governance Group, joined as a Partner to advocate for their own members to support nurseries who are Plant Pass certified. We acknowledge the efforts of Sophie Badland, Biosecurity & Emergency Response Manager as well as the NZW’s Environment Committee and Board in working through the complexities of maintaining the recognition of nurseries who are producing vines under their own industry standard.
NZW join New Zealand Avocado and Kiwifruit Vine Health in holding the dual, complimentary roles of being both a Plant Pass Partner and a signatory to the Plant Pass Operational Agreement.
Bioprotection Aotearoa is also a Plant Pass Partner. Bioprotection Aotearoa is a unique collective of 11 partners whose academic strengths allow them to provide world-leading integrated education and research.
Econet is our third new partner. EcoNet is a community-owned and not for profit organisation that is building a Conservation Activity Management System (CAMS). The CAMS CRM is being piloted successfully with three conservation groups, one of which has 6000 contacts.
